The press service of the Tashkent City Internal Affairs Department reported that a video circulated on social media showing a minor child cruelly treating a kitten, prompting an investigation.

The incident occurred on May 27 in the Aviasozlar-1 neighborhood of Yashnobod district, Tashkent. An 8-year-old boy, while playing, hit a kitten with a ball and threw it down the stairs.

Following the investigation, the boy's 41-year-old father was held accountable under Article 47 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Failure to fulfill duties in raising and educating children).

Additionally, a preventive conversation was conducted to prevent similar incidents from recurring.

According to Article 47, failure of parents or guardians to fulfill their duties in raising and educating minors, including causing minors to commit administrative offenses, results in a fine ranging from 1 to 5 times the base calculation value (from 412,000 to 2.06 million soums).
