Karim Mirxodiyev, a renowned Uzbek actor and Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, celebrates his 70th birthday. Born on July 29, 1954, in Bukhara, he began his artistic education in 1976 at the Tashkent State Theater and Art Institute.

After graduation, Mirxodiyev worked at the Abror Hidoyatov Theater and later, from 1983, at the Ilhom Theater. His film debut came in 1979 with the movie “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves.”

In the 1980s, he appeared in films such as “The Unyielding,” “Djantay's Oath,” “Long Echo in the Mountains,” “The Golden Head of the Avenger,” and “Changak.” The 1990s saw him in “Dinosaurs of the 20th Century,” “Charxpalak,” “Shaytanat,” “Searching for You,” “Thank God,” “Give Me Your Star,” and “The Little Healer.”

Between 2000 and 2023, Mirxodiyev performed in “The Sky is Near,” “Belated Life,” “Lead,” “Sabot,” “Ibrat,” and “Children of the Sky-3.” His extensive filmography has significantly contributed to Uzbek cinema.
