33-year-old Junior Sergeant Khasilbek Eshnazarov was hospitalized with severe injuries. Three children are left without a father.

Traffic police inspector Khasilbek Eshnazarov, hit by a BMW M4 driven by a minor during an illegal street race in Tashkent, has died in hospital.

The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs expressed condolences to the family and close ones of the deceased inspector.

"Khasilbek Eshnazarov served selflessly in the internal affairs bodies since 2022. He is survived by his dear parents, beloved wife, two sons, and a daughter. The homeland will not forget its heroic sons!" stated the published obituary.

The accident occurred on February 25 at 21:48 in the Mirabad district.

A 10th-grade student named Doniyor, born in 2010 and attending a private school, was driving a BMW M4 (license plate 01 0210 OC) without a driver's license and participating in an illegal street race.

Doniyor's parents had previously been held accountable

Doniyor's parents were twice held administratively liable under Article 47 of the Administrative Code (Failure to fulfill child-rearing duties): first in September 2025 and again in January 2026, with preventive conversations conducted.

In January, the teenager took the wheel without permission and grossly violated traffic rules. Video of this violation spread online: the youth in a BMW drove past, disobeying a traffic police officer's order to stop.

The BMW M4 is owned by Leyla Bekzodovna Atadiyanova, born in 2002. From 2024 to present, she has transferred vehicle control to an unlicensed person at least 18 times and committed 37 other gross traffic violations.

The Mirabad district prosecutor's office has initiated a criminal case under Article 266 of the Criminal Code (Violation of traffic rules resulting in moderate or severe bodily injury). Following the inspector's death, the criminal case is likely to be reclassified.
