A school student, Feruza Jumagulova, who met with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Surkhandarya region, has been granted a scholarship to study at Termez State University. According to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, the president visited School No. 66 in Jarkurgan district on February 26.

During the meeting, the 10th-grade student expressed her interest in robotics and desire to study at Termez University. Following the president's initiative, she was awarded a grant to enroll in the Information Systems and Technology program starting from the 2027-2028 academic year.

On February 27, a certificate was presented to Feruza in a ceremony attended by officials from the Presidential Administration, ministries, the university rector, and school staff.
