A farewell ceremony was held in Kashkadarya Region for traffic police inspector, Junior Sergeant Khasilbek Eshnazarov, who died in Tashkent after being hit by a BMW M4 driven by a minor. The press service of the Public Security Department of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Internal Affairs released photos from the event.

The 33-year-old inspector was honored by leadership from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Public Security Department, Road Traffic Safety Service, and many colleagues. A gun salute was fired in his honor.

"The dedication, loyalty to duty, and courage of the officer will forever remain in the hearts of our compatriots," stated the Public Security Department's message.

According to Gazeta.uz, the BMW M4 was driven by a 16-year-old student. He is suspected of car theft and intentional infliction of serious bodily harm.
