The XX Summer Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 are being held in Japan from September 19 to October 4. Uzbekistan is represented by 396 athletes competing in 42 sports.

In the first week of the Games, by the evening of September 25, the Uzbekistan national team had won 31 medals: 7 gold, 15 silver, and 9 bronze. Uzbekistan ranks 5th in the overall medal standings.

On September 20, Humoyunmirzo Khalimov, competing in karate in the up to 55 kg weight category, brought the first silver medal to the team.

On September 21, Nodirbek Shavkatov, competing in mixed martial arts (MMA) in the up to 71 kg category, won bronze. On the same day, karateka Abdulvahob Rashidov secured Uzbekistan's first gold in the up to 67 kg category, defeating his opponent.

On September 22, Firdavs Atamuradov (MMA up to 60 kg) and Hilola Sobirova (traditional up to 60 kg) won silver. Darya Latysheva also won silver in wushu in the demonstration program, marking her third Asian Games medal.

On September 23, wushu athletes Saydullo Abdurashidov (sanda up to 56 kg) and Doniyor Turgunboev (up to 75 kg) won bronze. Polina Volobueva also won bronze in the women's individual foil fencing. Abubakr Iminjanov and Farrukh Mirkhamidov made history by winning bronze in eFootball, reaching the semifinals.

On September 24, Uzbekistan won 5 gold, 8 silver, and 3 bronze medals. Shokhsanam Sherzodova won gold in women's canoe 200m. In men's LM2x rowing, Shakhzodbek Nurmatov and Sobir Safaraliev won gold. Shooter Vladimir Svechnikov won gold, beating Chinese rivals. Gymnast Utkirbek Juraev became Asian Games champion. Athlete Sharifa Davronova became Asian Games champion for the second time, winning gold in triple jump with 14.35 meters. In rowing, Shakhboz Kholmurzaev (M1x) and Anna Prakaten (W1x) won silver. The duo Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov and Pavel Sorin, and the W4 crew of Anna Aksyonova, Maria Sergeeva, Raykhona Sattorova, and Aydana Smetullaeva won silver. In W2-, Aydana Smetullaeva and Anna Aksyonova; in M4-, Dilshod Khudoyberdiev, Fazliddin Karimov, Alisher Turdiev, and Maksim Golubev won silver. Canoeists Artur Guliev and Vladlen Denisov won silver in 500m. Sabre fencer Zaynab Dayibekova won silver. In M4x, the crew of Shakhboz Kholmurzaev, Davrjon Davronov, Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov, and Pavel Sorin won bronze with 5:48.96. In women's kayak 500m, Arina Tanatmisheva and Ekaterina Shubina won bronze. In M2-, Maksim Golubev and Alisher Turdiev won bronze with 6:32.34.

On September 25, Uzbekistan won 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze. Athlete Sukhrob Khojaev became Asian Games champion in hammer throw, with a best throw of 74.38 meters. Canoeist Vladlen Denisov won his second silver in the 500m singles. In C2 500m, Shokhsanam Sherzodova and Nilufar Zokirova won silver. Rasuljon Abdurakhimov won bronze in parallel bars.
