Uzbekistan, Tashkent – AN Podrobno.uz. Due to cold weather, the basic consumption norm for natural gas, set for the heating season, has been extended for all regions of Uzbekistan until March 15.
Previously, the winter basic gas limit of 500 cubic meters was maintained only for Karakalpakstan and Khorezm Region.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, the decision to extend the basic gas norm for the entire republic was made in connection with the influx of cold air masses into the country's regions.
"According to updated weather forecasts, the volume of 500 cubic meters will remain in all regions of the republic until March 15, 2026," the statement said.
After March 15, additional measures will be taken based on actual weather conditions, the ministry noted.
