The government of Uzbekistan has been actively driving economic and political changes in the Central Asian region in recent years. Under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, reforms are proceeding at a rapid pace, aimed at attracting foreign investment and developing the domestic economy.

In the economic sphere, Uzbekistan is implementing infrastructure projects while strengthening cooperation with international organizations such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. However, this process continues to face challenges, including corruption and bureaucratic barriers, which negatively impact the effectiveness of the reforms.

Politically, Uzbekistan seeks to foster regional cooperation, but balancing relations with neighboring states remains a complex task. Although the country's leadership is attempting to implement democratic reforms in domestic politics, these changes are progressing slowly and have not reached broad segments of society, drawing criticism from observers.
