Incidents of minors driving cars continue to be recorded on Uzbekistan's roads. A recent case occurred in Tashkent, where 13-year-old twins were seen driving various vehicles at high speeds on residential streets. Videos circulating on social media clearly show the children violating traffic rules.

Residents of the mahalla where the children live complained to their household. However, the father of the teenagers, Nozim Azizov, behaved extremely rudely towards the neighbors. It was later revealed that Nozim Azizov is a major entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical sector.

After the incident gained widespread attention on social media and sparked public discussion, an administrative case was initiated against Nozim Azizov for failure to fulfill parental duties and petty hooliganism. He was sentenced to 5 days of administrative arrest. In a video released by the capital's traffic police, Azizov claimed he never gave the children car keys and that they took a car without permission only once, but these statements contradict numerous videos showing the twins driving systematically.

One of the cars driven by the children has been impounded. According to sources, other vehicles they used will also be sent to the impound lot. It is worth recalling that earlier in Tashkent, a 10th-grade student, Doniyor Turgunov, hit a traffic police inspector with a BMW car, and the inspector died from severe injuries. A criminal case was initiated against the teenager, and he was taken into custody.
