In Tashkent, two young men driving a Mercedes-Benz (Gelendvagen) car with illegally installed "flashing lights" at speeds exceeding 210 and 222 km/h have been sentenced to 15 days of administrative detention. According to internal affairs authorities, individuals identified as I.K. and Sh.A. grossly violated traffic rules in early March on Fayzi Street in the Sergeli district.

As reported by the head of the information service of the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs (GUVD), Zoir Yuldoshev, a preventive conversation was held with the violators, and the legal and moral implications of their actions were explained. Documents were formalized and submitted to judicial bodies. One of the accused stated: "I didn't think it would come to this, that is, they really showed us that the law is supreme and punishment is inevitable. I don't advise anyone to do such things. I ask people not to violate traffic rules and not to post on social networks. If I bothered anyone on the road, I apologize a thousand times. I apologize to our people."

By the decision of the Chilanzar District Court, both were given administrative punishment of 15 days detention under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (Petty Hooliganism). The GUVD has called on citizens affected by the violations to contact the nearest internal affairs departments or call 102.

This incident is part of a series of recent traffic violations and severe consequences in Tashkent. In late February, traffic patrol inspector Khasilbek Eshnazarov of the GUVD was killed after being hit by a BMW M4 car driven by a minor. Additionally, a father who allowed his underage son to drive a car at 130 km/h in a residential area was also detained for 5 days.

The GUVD has identified 107 video materials related to road hooliganism on networks, with 62 cars placed in penalty lots. Overall, similar measures have been taken against 5,919 vehicles for violations, indicating widespread road safety issues in the city.
