According to Uzgidromet, dry weather will persist across most of Uzbekistan during the weekend.

On Friday, dry and mostly partly cloudy weather is expected across the country. Air temperatures will be around +30…+35°C, reaching +37…+39°C in the south and desert areas.

On Saturday, only in Tashkent, Jizzakh, and Syrdarya regions, some places may see brief afternoon rain and thunderstorms. On Sunday, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, some places will experience brief rain with thunderstorms.

Nighttime temperatures will be +17…+22°C, daytime +32…+37°C, with some southern and desert areas reaching +39…+41°C.

On May 15-16 in the north and desert areas, and on May 17 across the republic, wind speeds are expected to increase to 13-18 m/s, occasionally up to 20-22 m/s, with dust storms in some places.

In foothill and mountainous areas, brief rain, thunderstorms, and mudflow-flood events may occur on May 15-17.

In Tashkent city, no precipitation is expected on Friday and Saturday, only on May 16 towards evening there may be brief rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures will be +32…+34°C. On Sunday, no precipitation is expected, temperatures +34…+36°C. East wind at 3-8 m/s, on May 16 possibly increasing to 10-12 m/s, with dust storms in some parts of the city.
