Uzbekistan will introduce new tariffs for electricity and natural gas starting June 1. The adjustment was approved by a Cabinet of Ministers resolution under the annual energy price indexation mechanism introduced in 2025, with increases capped at 10 percent.

Under the resolution, for consumer groups I and II, the cost of 1 kWh of electricity is set at 1,100 soums. For group IV consumers, the price is also 1,100 soums per kWh.

For group III, which includes households, differentiated tariffs remain. Specifically, for residents of apartment buildings and dormitories equipped with centralized electric stoves: up to 200 kWh per month — 325 soums; 201–500 kWh — 450 soums; 501–1,000 kWh — 550 soums.

For other residential consumers: up to 200 kWh per month — 650 soums; 201–500 kWh — 900 soums; 501–1,000 kWh — 1,100 soums. Tariffs with increasing coefficients for consumption above the established norms will be retained.

Additionally, the price of 1 cubic meter of natural gas for all consumers (except certain categories) is set at 2,000 soums. The tariff for automobile gas filling compressor stations will be 2,750 soums per cubic meter.

Natural gas tariffs for households also remain differentiated: during the heating season, consumption up to 500 cubic meters per month, and in other seasons up to 100 cubic meters per month, the cost of 1 cubic meter of gas will be 1,100 soums.

The resolution also defines additional tasks to reduce losses in energy supply, improve energy efficiency, and enhance service quality.
