In the mountainous area of Pap district, Namangan region, extreme rides – zip lines and suspension bridges – operating without permits have been dismantled.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, a working group comprising specialists from the Ministry and organizations responsible for protecting the population and territories conducted an inspection of the technical condition of the rides in the Pap district highlands.

The inspection revealed objects posing a threat to visitors' lives, lacking project documentation and operating permits. Their operation was halted, and the structures were subsequently dismantled.

Inspections of such facilities began after an incident near Angren, where two people collided mid-air while descending a zip line. It later emerged that the ride had been installed illegally. It was subsequently dismantled.
