According to Presidential Decree No. PF-115 adopted on June 23, Uzbekistan will increase salaries, pensions, and benefits by 7 percent. The decision aims to strengthen social protection and shield household incomes from inflation.

Under the decree, starting September 1, 2026, the monthly child allowance for families included in the Social Registry will be raised by 7 percent. Additionally, wages for public sector employees and stipends will also increase by 7 percent.

From July 1, 2026, the base amount for calculating pensions is set at 504,000 soums per month, marking a significant rise from the previous level.

It is worth recalling that the Budget Message for 2026-2028, presented by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, stated that salaries, pensions, stipends, and benefits in Uzbekistan would be increased at rates exceeding annual inflation at least until 2028.
