Uzbekistan's average life expectancy has increased by 9 years over the past three decades, reaching 75.4 years, according to data from the National Statistics Committee for 2025.

In 1991, the figure stood at 66.4 years, rising to 69.1 years by 1995 and 70.8 years in 2000. The upward trend continued: 71.8 years in 2005, 73 years in 2010, and 73.6 years in 2015.

A slight decline to 73.4 years was observed in 2020, after which life expectancy resumed its growth. By 2024, it reached 75.1 years, and in 2025 it climbed to 75.4 years.

Notably, in 2025, 48 men in Uzbekistan became fathers at the age of over 70.
