On Sunday, June 28, two major fires broke out in different regions of Uzbekistan, both of which were promptly extinguished by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The first incident was recorded at 3:17 PM in the Kibray district of the Tashkent region. The fire started on the roof of the sports complex of Tashkent State Agrarian University. Rescue units arrived immediately and managed to contain the flames by 3:59 PM. The fire was fully extinguished at 4:15 PM. No injuries were reported.

The second fire began almost simultaneously at 3:25 PM in the Sergeli district of the capital. The blaze broke out in an apartment of a multi-story building in the 8th quarter of Sergeli, within the Yangi Sergeli mahalla. Firefighters arrived at 3:32 PM and completely extinguished the fire by 4:08 PM. The fire damaged household property over an area of approximately 30 square meters. No casualties were reported in this incident either.

The ministry noted that specialists are currently investigating the causes of both fires and assessing the extent of the damage.
