On June 28, a widespread power outage in the Chilanzar district of Tashkent caused 32 people to become stranded on the 'Charxpalak' Ferris wheel at Dream Park amusement park.

The Tashkent City Emergency Situations Department reported that rescue units promptly arrived at the scene and safely evacuated all stranded individuals. No injuries were recorded as a result of the incident.

The power outage occurred in the evening of June 28, affecting parts of Tashkent city and Tashkent region. According to energy officials, the outage was caused by a malfunction at the 'Yuksak' substation, leading to the emergency shutdown of two 110 kV power transmission lines.
