Uzbekistan Airports has received 12 LEIDOS gas analyzers under the Export Control and Border Security (EXBS) program.

The equipment handover resulted from cooperation with the US Embassy in Uzbekistan and the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The new devices will be used at all international airports in the country. They help detect traces of explosives during inspection of passenger baggage, carry-on luggage, cargo, and mail items.

Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan Airports for Aviation Security and Regime, Bekhzod Yusupov, thanked American partners for their cooperation and support. According to him, joint projects help introduce new technologies, improve specialist performance, and develop aviation security in Uzbekistan.
