President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan has visited a newly built modern medical center that cost $30 million to construct. The facility is capable of providing services to over 150,000 patients annually.

Covering an area of 0.5 hectares, the center is equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment from British, Italian, and German manufacturers, including Philips technologies. The annual service volume is planned to reach 15 billion soums in the future.

During the visit, the head of state inspected the surgical, intensive care, and other departments, as well as the situation center. The center has created 250 new jobs, with over 10 specialists having undergone advanced training abroad, and foreign doctors have been invited to work.

The President emphasized the need to utilize the center's experience for further development of the healthcare system. On his instructions, advanced training for doctors will be organized at the clinic, and modern diagnostic and treatment methods are planned to be actively introduced in the regions.

During a meeting with the clinic staff, issues of developing private medicine, supporting medical workers, and improving the quality of medical services for the population were discussed.
