On July 4, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the administration of the Sergeli district in Tashkent to review the operation of a 'single window' service center and a situation center based on the 'Smart District' platform.

The district administration building houses five additional organizations that provide over 30 public services to residents and entrepreneurs. The president was also shown a device for online appeals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs: when a request is sent, the duty inspector contacts the applicant via video link, the request is automatically registered, and the applicant rates the outcome and the inspector's performance.

Mirziyoyev instructed to install more such 'smart' devices in crowded places, markets, and other facilities. The situation center at the administration runs the 'Smart District' platform, which uses artificial intelligence for analysis, rapid problem detection, and resolution. The center integrates 17 information systems, monitors social and utility issues, tracks the execution of citizen appeals, and coordinates emergency services.

As part of the center's launch, video conferencing has been established with 46 mahallas (neighborhoods) in the district, and 25 schools are being integrated. The 'Safe District' system within the platform monitors offenses and ensures public safety. A digital map of business entities uses AI analysis to forecast tax revenues and improve collection. The 'AI Davomat' system aims to prevent truancy and neglect among minors.

After reviewing the center's operations, the president ordered the implementation of this new system in all other districts of the capital. Earlier, Mirziyoyev inspected the renovated Yangi Sergeli street, where 2.1 km of infrastructure was modernized, creating round-the-clock trade, catering, and recreation areas. Additionally, trade and services will be developed under the Sergeli overground metro. The president also instructed to allocate plots in the 'New Generation' industrial zone for all 12 districts of Tashkent, aiming to reduce barriers to industrial projects due to land shortages.
