A tragic accident occurred at a construction site in the Yashnobod district of Tashkent on July 3. A 25-year-old worker from Surkhandarya region was killed when a concrete slab fell on him near 27 Olmos mahalla.

Witnesses reported hearing a loud crash and rushing to provide first aid, but the young man had already succumbed to severe injuries. One witness stated: “I checked under the first slab, nothing. Then I moved to the other side, but we couldn’t do anything to help.”

Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed the worker’s death. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident and to review safety protocols at the construction site.
