From February 4 to July 10, 2026, the Road Safety Service (RSS) issued 399,269 administrative warnings for traffic violations. As of today, 671 drivers have accumulated more than 12 penalty points.
According to the RSS press service, the most common violations during the reporting period included driving without a seatbelt, using a mobile phone while driving, watching videos while driving, speeding, violating stopping and parking rules, and non-compliance with traffic regulations.
Pedestrians crossing the road in unauthorized places also ranked among the most frequent violations.
The RSS reported that 671 drivers have now exceeded the 12-point threshold. Under current legislation, they face legal liability measures in the prescribed manner.
The RSS urges drivers and pedestrians to strictly adhere to traffic rules, emphasizing that this is crucial for preventing road accidents and ensuring the safety of all road users.
