The press service of the Uzbek Energy Inspectorate (Uzenergoinspektsiya) has reported that illegal electricity consumption totaling 1.9 billion UZS has been uncovered in the Bukhara region.

During a monitoring operation conducted by the General Prosecutor's Office headquarters in the Shafirkan district, it was found that equipment owned by citizen T.N. was connected to the power grid bypassing the meter. The amount of unaccounted consumption amounted to 509 million UZS.

Additionally, a similar violation was recorded at School No. 16 in the Kagan district. Preliminary estimates put the damage at 1.418 billion UZS.

The total damage from the two identified incidents reached 1.9 billion UZS. Further investigations are ongoing.
