Meteorologists have warned of a new intensification of heat in Uzbekistan. According to the forecast of Uzgidromet, from July 18 to 20, air temperatures in several regions of the country will approach 48 degrees Celsius.
In most regions, temperatures will reach 43–45°C, while in southern and desert areas, they may rise to 46–48°C.
Strong winds of 13–18 m/s are expected across the republic, with gusts up to 20–22 m/s in some places. Dust storms and blowing dust are possible in certain areas.
Due to the adverse weather conditions, residents are urged to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, maintain hydration, and pay special attention to children, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses.
