Starting October 1, Uzbekistan will implement a new procedure for automatically updating citizens' personal data in state information systems, as per a presidential decree issued on July 15.

When citizens' surnames, first names, patronymics, dates of birth, or other personal details change, government agencies will receive the information through an interagency electronic cooperation system and independently update their electronic databases.

Identity documents will be reissued based on an electronic certificate of personal data changes obtained from the Unified Interactive State Services Portal (UISSP).

Additionally, state agencies have been instructed to establish a proactive system for automatically lifting restrictions on real estate and motor vehicles once loans are fully repaid, with a deadline of November 1.

It is worth recalling that in May, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev tasked the government with reducing bureaucracy in public services and emphasizing a more proactive service delivery model.
