From July 17 to 19, trains on Tashkent Metro's overground circular line will operate on a reduced schedule — from 6:00 AM to 10:30 PM, the capital's metro administration reported.

The schedule change is due to additional technical inspections of the stations. During these days, specialists will examine the structural and technical condition of all 14 stations on the overground circular line.

“The preventive measures are aimed at ensuring reliable operation of the metro infrastructure, conducting an in-depth analysis of its current state, and creating safer and more comfortable conditions for passengers,” the metro administration stated.

On July 16, part of the roof structure collapsed at the “Turon” station on the overground line. Two passengers sustained minor injuries. A commission has been formed to investigate the incident.
