A tragic incident occurred in the Mubarek district of the Kashkadarya region, where a 15-year-old girl died after being beaten by her father. The reason was 400,000 soums that the teenager had taken without permission.

The incident took place on the evening of March 13, 2025. Upon discovering the missing money, the man demanded an explanation from his daughter. The girl confessed and asked for forgiveness, but the father did not accept her apologies. He asked his son to bring a wooden rolling pin and began beating his daughter, despite attempts by the mother and aunt to stop him.

After the beating, the mother washed her daughter, changed her clothes, and moved her to another room. However, after 10 minutes, the teenager's condition deteriorated sharply, and she lost consciousness. The ambulance that arrived on the call confirmed the girl's death.

A forensic medical examination revealed severe injuries to the head and chest, as well as multiple bodily injuries. During the trial, the man admitted to the beating but claimed he did not intend to kill his daughter, only to punish her for her misdeed.

The criminal court of the Kasan district found the citizen guilty of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm that negligently resulted in the victim's death and sentenced him to five years in prison.
