In Uzbekistan, the extraction of natural gas, oil, and gas condensate continued to decline during January-July. According to the State Statistics Committee, natural gas extraction totaled 21.6 billion cubic meters, which is approximately 15% less than in the same period last year.

In July, gas production saw a significant recovery: 3.3 billion cubic meters were extracted, 32% more than in June (2.5 billion cubic meters). However, compared to July of the previous year, the decline is still 7.9%.

Electricity production continues to grow. In January-July, 52.5 billion kWh were generated, 6.4% more than a year earlier. In July, production reached 8.36 billion kWh, up 10% year-on-year.

The overall growth is mainly driven by small enterprises, including new solar and wind power plants. Over seven months, they generated 17.25 billion kWh, 35.1% more than last year.

Gasoline production in January-July totaled 731,900 tons, up 8.9%. In July, 117,700 tons were produced, 5.1% more than in June.

Diesel fuel production over seven months amounted to 683,400 tons, just 1.4% above last year's level. In July, 115,400 tons were produced, 1.6% less than in June.

Coal extraction in January-July was 3.5 million tons, 9.5% less than a year earlier. However, in July, extraction reached 1 million tons, significantly increasing compared to June.

Oil extraction over seven months totaled 368,700 tons, down 2.7%. In July, 54,900 tons were extracted, 5.8% more than in June.

Gas condensate extraction saw notable changes: in July, 105,400 tons were produced, up nearly 50% from June and 13.1% year-on-year. This was the first month since the beginning of the year that production exceeded the level of the same month last year.

Heat energy production at large enterprises decreased by 18.3% over seven months, totaling 10.12 million Gcal.
