The Prosecutor General's Office of Uzbekistan issued an additional statement on the criminal case involving a BMW driven by a 10th-grade student that hit traffic police officer Khosilbek Eshnazarov.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the minor, born in 2010 (named Doniyor), intentionally violated rules by installing loud sound systems, flashing lights, and sirens on vehicles, repeatedly committing offenses against public safety.

On February 25, the teenager, learning that a BMW belonging to his friend's sister was left at a car wash with keys, stole it. While driving on Nukus Street, he disobeyed a stop signal from officer Eshnazarov, created a hazardous situation, hit the officer, causing life-threatening severe injuries. The officer died on February 27.

The minor is suspected of vehicle theft and intentional infliction of severe bodily harm resulting in death. He has been detained under Article 221 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The investigation is under special supervision by the Prosecutor General's Office.
