On September 11, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the founder of Vietnam's ROX Group investment company, Anh Tuan Tran. The talks focused on expanding cooperation and implementing new projects in Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed to accelerate the implementation of ongoing and new projects involving the company. To this end, a special "roadmap" will be developed, outlining specific timelines and responsibilities.

Priority areas of cooperation include the development of modern urban and industrial infrastructure, renewable energy, geology, the financial sector, and tourism. These sectors are of strategic importance to Uzbekistan's economy.

Founded in 1996, ROX Group is one of Vietnam's large diversified investment groups. The company operates in real estate, energy, banking, hospitality, and services. Its experience could bring modern technologies and investments to Uzbekistan.

Earlier, the president held a phone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The parties discussed the development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation, new industrial cooperation projects, and transport corridors between Central Asia and the South Caucasus. These negotiations aim to strengthen Uzbekistan's international ties.
