A meeting was held at the Tashkent City Security Service between the head of the Security Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the deputy chairman of the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan. The parties discussed cooperation in ensuring the safety of foreign and local tourists, as well as creating a secure and comfortable tourism environment.

It was noted that the growth of tourism, the increase in foreign visitors, and the expansion of tourist routes require modern approaches to security. In this regard, the Security Department presented new types of services.

In particular, the use of bodyguard services was discussed to ensure the personal safety of foreign tourists, official delegations, business representatives, and other guests of the country. This service will allow for ensuring a person's safety during the trip, assessing possible risks in advance, organizing necessary security measures along the route, and responding promptly in emergency situations.

The parties also discussed the broader use of technical security equipment, modern video surveillance systems, and rapid response teams at tourist sites. It is proposed to analyze risks along tourist routes, study tourist sites and infrastructure, strengthen security where necessary, and establish mechanisms for operational communication and response.
