Uzbekistan plans to attract 20 major recruitment companies from Germany, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom to expand employment opportunities for its citizens abroad. This was announced during a video conference meeting chaired by the president.

To strengthen targeted training for the foreign labor market, courses in German will be organized for 500 people in cooperation with private training centers in Germany. Additionally, medical workers will be trained for employment in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Separate projects are planned with French companies. In particular, 1,500 Uzbeks are expected to be employed annually for seasonal work in France.

Furthermore, a technical college for 400 students specializing in information technology and advanced innovations will be established in the Almazar district on the basis of a vocational skills center. A modern vocational training center will also be created in the building of the former Tashkent Architectural and Construction College. Other existing buildings will be effectively used for vocational training.

The president also tasked officials with starting work by the end of the year on an innovation cluster covering 42 hectares in the Youth City, combining an IT park, high-tech industrial and educational facilities.
