A meeting was held at the Situational Center of the Tashkent city administration to discuss monitoring student attendance and promptly identifying truancy cases in the capital's schools. The press service of the Tashkent administration reported this.

The meeting focused on the new SI Davomat system, its operating mechanism, and the results of a pilot project in the Sergeli district. The system automatically records students' presence in classes using smart cameras and Face ID technology.

"If a student misses classes without a valid reason, an SMS notification is sent to their parents. Information about this is also automatically transmitted to the school principal, the prevention inspector, a National Guard officer, and mahalla representatives," the statement reads.

Currently, the system is being tested in 26 schools in the Sergeli district. These schools have 446 smart cameras installed. The SI Davomat system is integrated with the ERP Maktab and DMED systems of the Ministry of Health.

"This will make it possible to distinguish students who missed classes due to illness from those who skipped classes without a valid reason," the administration added. Based on the system's data, schools will be divided into "green," "yellow," and "red" categories depending on attendance indicators.

It is noted that, based on the results of the experiment in the Sergeli district, the system is planned to be gradually introduced in other general education schools in Tashkent.
