On the eve of Teachers' and Mentors' Day, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited New Uzbekistan University. The head of state spoke with faculty and students, as well as with foreign partners involved in international educational programs.

According to the presidential press service, Mirziyoyev reviewed an exhibition of achievements in education and toured the university's academic and scientific infrastructure.

He was shown the IDROCK artificial intelligence cluster, laboratories for biotechnology and bioinformatics, materials science, laser and nanotechnology, and the ADM mechanical engineering laboratory. These facilities integrate theory with practice, research, and projects.

Earlier, Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded educators, scientists, and coaches on the occasion of the professional holiday.
