Uzbek railway authorities have announced the launch of an additional Jaloliddin Manguberdi electric train service connecting the capital, Tashkent, with the historic city of Khiva. The service will operate twice weekly in both directions, addressing growing domestic transit demands and tourist passenger traffic.

According to Temiryul Express, train No. 754 along the Tashkent–Khiva route will depart on Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:20 local time, reaching Khiva at 19:51. The return service, train No. 753 from Khiva to Tashkent, is scheduled to run on Fridays and Sundays, leaving Khiva at 11:00 and arriving in Tashkent at 19:36.

To streamline connectivity between rail services and air travel, synchronized feeder routes have also been arranged to Urgench International Airport. Train No. 7055, operating from Urgench International Airport to Khiva, will run on Fridays and Sundays, leaving at 09:00 and arriving at 09:42. The return route, train No. 7056 from Khiva to the airport, will depart on Thursdays and Saturdays at 21:00, arriving at 21:42.

Travelers are advised to take the newly implemented timetables into account when arranging their journeys. This service expansion comes following agreements between Uzbekistan Temir Yullari and South Korea's Hyundai Rotem regarding the procurement of eight modern high-speed trainsets featuring specialized VIP carriages.
