According to reports from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, two citizens of Uzbekistan who had been internationally wanted for years were successfully detained in the Turkish capital. The operation allegedly highlights ongoing law enforcement coordination between the respective jurisdictions.

Specifically, authorities reportedly apprehended an individual identified as F.F., who had been evading justice since 2017. He faces serious accusations under Article 164, Part 3 of the Criminal Code (Robbery). The suspect allegedly managed to elude investigative bodies and accountability for nearly nine years before his run came to an end.

In addition, security forces reportedly captured another fugitive, A.M., who was wanted under Article 168, Part 3 of the Criminal Code (Fraud). This individual was likewise targeted by law enforcement for alleged financial crimes and prolonged evasion of local justice authorities.

Both individuals have reportedly been handed over to the authorized agencies of Uzbekistan in accordance with established legal procedures. Comprehensive investigative actions are currently underway to address the pending charges against them.
