The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan is taking measures to assist citizens returning from Iran through Turkmenistan, according to the "Dunyo" news agency.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ashgabat is closely cooperating with the operational headquarters of Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and authorized organizations.

Constant communication has been established with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Iran, and embassy staff and vehicles have been mobilized to meet citizens at the Turkmen-Iranian border checkpoint "Sarakhs".
