Uzbekistan will introduce an annual national ranking for state and non-state higher education institutions across four fields: applied sciences, medicine, social sciences and humanities, and creativity (including sports).

The results for the past year will be published by November 1. A nationwide survey among students, faculty, and employers will be conducted by June 1 to inform the ranking, with international experts assessing the institutions' global prestige.

The ranking is based on 25 indicators, five of which are determined by the nationwide survey. At least 20% of students and faculty from each institution must participate in the survey for their results to be counted.

The national ranking will be compiled by the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.

It is also planned to launch a digital ecosystem in Uzbekistan to connect university graduates with employers and facilitate job searches for young professionals.
