In Tashkent, a mother and daughter were detained for attempting to illegally export gold coins and items abroad. According to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, gold worth approximately 1 billion Uzbek sums was found in their possession.

Checks conducted by customs officials revealed that the women had concealed gold coins and items in their luggage. A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
