Uzbekistan is reportedly setting ambitious targets to transform its digital education landscape and equip the younger generation with essential technological skills. During a recent presentation overseen by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, authorities discussed plans to educate 5.5 million young people through traditional and remote digital learning formats by the year 2030, alongside scaling technological grants to $100 million annually.

The presentation outlined comprehensive approaches for developing a robust digital education ecosystem across the country. Key initiatives include expanding school-targeted projects such as the "Successors of Al-Khwarizmi" and "Five Million Artificial Intelligence Leaders," while simultaneously integrating the capabilities of higher education institutions with private training centers.

The state leadership has supposedly set a concrete task to train one million young individuals every year in high-demand sectors, including robotics, computer game development, and tech startups. Achieving these objectives will allegedly require the formation of a national corps of trainers, the accelerated launch of online educational platforms, and short-term digital upskilling courses.

Furthermore, the discussions addressed the critical need to align university-level curricula with rapidly evolving labor market demands. Proposed measures include advancing education in artificial intelligence, microchip design, drone technologies, and establishing specialized iOS development training hubs based on regional success cases.
