A total of 51 children across three preschool educational institutions in the city of Fergana have sought medical attention, exhibiting symptoms such as high fever, abdominal pain, weakness, nausea, and severe diarrhea. Preliminary findings indicate that all affected children had consumed dairy products delivered on the same day by the 'Chorvador' farm enterprise.

Investigative reports reveal that while meals at kindergartens No. 47, No. 2, and No. 7 are prepared on-site, the suspect dairy items were supplied simultaneously to all three facilities by the same external provider. Parents have expressed deep concern over the sudden onset of severe symptoms, noting rapid health deterioration shortly after the children consumed the provided meals.

Abduvali Isaqov, a physician at the Fergana Regional Infectious Diseases Hospital, stated that the patients have been diagnosed with acute diarrhea, though their current conditions are generally stable and satisfactory. Out of the 51 admitted children, 31 have already been discharged home, while 20 continue to receive outpatient or inpatient treatment, with no intensive care admissions reported.
