Poytaxt Parking, the operator of paid municipal parking lots in Tashkent, has issued an urgent warning regarding a wave of fraudulent SMS messages currently being distributed to local residents. The deceptive texts allegedly demand immediate payment for overdue parking fees under the guise of official company notifications.

Investigations revealed that these phishing messages originate primarily from international phone numbers with country codes for the Philippines (+63) and Morocco (+212), though analysts warn that additional foreign or local numbers could also be utilized. The texts claim that the recipient has an unpaid parking balance and prompt them to click a malicious link and enter their vehicle's license plate number to view session details.

Security experts pointed out that the embedded URL mimics the official Poytaxt Parking website but is entirely fake. The senders attempt to manufacture panic by claiming that the parking fee has supposedly been delayed for three days, threatening to restrict vehicular service access if the fabricated debt is not cleared immediately.

Company representatives firmly stated that they have no involvement in sending these alerts. Citizens who receive such messages are strongly advised to delete them immediately, refrain from clicking any links, and avoid entering bank card credentials or vehicle details. Individuals who have already compromised their financial data are urged to contact their respective banks instantly to block their cards.

The operator reiterated that parking payment statuses can only be verified securely within the official Poytaxt Parking mobile application. For inquiries, customers may reach out via the support hotline at 78 113 67 00 or through the company's designated support bot.
