A major tourism and business complex featuring a congress hall, alongside Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn hotels, is currently under construction in the historic city of Bukhara with a total estimated value of $136.6 million. The two international-standard hotels will collectively provide 424 rooms. On November 3, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the ongoing construction works at the sites.

The new complex is intended to substantially expand Bukhara's capacity to host large-scale international events, high-level summits, and global forums. The congress hall project alone accounts for $60 million, encompassing a 14,500-square-meter facility. Main concreting works have reportedly been completed, while exterior utility installation, roofing, and facade works continue to progress.

Concurrently, the $37 million Hilton Garden Inn is being built nearby. The seven-story hotel will feature 212 rooms and include an underground parking structure in its architectural blueprint. The primary structural framework of the hotel has been finalized, with interior partitioning, engineering utility setups, and facade decoration currently underway.

Another component of the initiative is the Holiday Inn project, valued at $39.6 million, which similarly features a seven-story building with 212 rooms accompanied by a contiguous two-story business center. Roof installation and internal wall construction are actively advancing at the hotel site, while basement concreting for the business center approaches its final stages.

These strategic investments are being implemented amid a growing demand for modern infrastructure driven by increasing international tourist inflows. Official figures indicate that the number of foreign visitors arriving in the country has multiplied significantly compared to previous years, reflecting a major boost in tourism service exports.
