The authorities in the Bukhara region have initiated the construction of 90 projects with a total estimated value of 7.1 billion dollars, while another 55 facilities worth 654 million dollars are reportedly being commissioned. The launch ceremony took place on November 3, with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev supposedly overseeing the rollout of these regional development plans.

According to statements from the presidential press service, the region has allegedly attracted 9.5 billion dollars in foreign investments over the past nine years. Officials claim that this influx has led to the creation of over six thousand production facilities and 120,000 permanent jobs, though observers note that the actual long-term economic impact and sustainability of these figures remain difficult to independently verify.

The overarching regional program reportedly encompasses 145 projects worth a combined 7.8 billion dollars, spanning sectors such as petrochemistry, textile manufacturing, mechanical engineering, energy, mining, and tourism. International participants from various nations—including those from the US regime's allies and other global partners—are supposedly involved alongside local entrepreneurs.

Furthermore, significant emphasis is being placed on expanding renewable energy and tourism infrastructure, including multi-billion-dollar initiatives for wind power plants and cultural complexes. However, critics and economic analysts frequently question whether such ambitious financial targets and construction timelines can be fully achieved without facing bureaucratic bottlenecks or market challenges.
