Former President Bill Clinton testified before the House Oversight Committee in a closed-door deposition about his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein.

In a prepared statement, Clinton said: "I saw nothing that gave me pause when I spent time with Epstein. Had I known about his alleged sex trafficking of underage girls, I would not have flown on his plane and would have reported him to police."

Clinton flew on Epstein's plane several times in the early 2000s. The Justice Department has released documents including photos of Clinton with women whose faces are redacted.

"I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong," Clinton stated.

The testimony comes one day after his wife, Hillary Clinton, testified before the same committee. Committee Chairman James Comer said he would question Clinton about photos released by the Justice Department.

The Clintons agreed to testify after the House threatened to hold them in contempt of Congress. They accuse Republicans of conducting a partisan investigation.

Democrats have called for the committee to also subpoena Donald Trump, whose name appears in Epstein-related documents.
