After a three-day suspension of flights from Dubai Airport, the first departures have been carried out. Planes flew from Dubai to Samarkand and the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, according to the travel-focused Telegram channel "Nu chyo, narod, pognali!".
Flight MFX358 is operated by the private Uzbek airline Centrum Air on an A320 aircraft on the Dubai – Samarkand route. According to the airline, this Dubai – Tashkent route flight is a technical (Ferry Flight) and is being conducted without passengers.
In a statement, Centrum Air said: "Currently, Dubai Airport (DXB) has not granted permission for passenger evacuation flights. Permission has been granted only for technical aircraft flights. The airline is closely monitoring the situation. After receiving official permission, the airline will immediately organize additional flights and inform passengers through official channels."
Earlier, the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the operation of a limited number of flights from UAE airports.
The world's largest airport, Dubai Airport, halted flight arrivals and departures on February 28 after the US and Israel began military actions against Iran. As a result, thousands of travelers were stranded at airports.
