Tashkent, Uzbekistan – Iran attacked the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, using two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) on Tuesday, March 3. The assault resulted in an explosion, fire, and material damage. According to Reuters, a powerful blast occurred at the embassy compound, followed by flames visible above the building. Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense confirmed the incident, stating that two Iranian UAVs were involved in the attack. Fox News reported no casualties, as embassy staff were outside the building at the time of the strike.

Following the attack, Washington issued an emergency "Depart Now" directive for its citizens in 14 regional countries. This incident comes amid escalating tensions: on February 28, Israel targeted military sites in Iran, and US President Donald Trump announced a large-scale military operation against Iran in coordination with Israel. On March 1, Iran confirmed the death of its Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei from US and Israeli strikes, intensifying military confrontation in the Middle East.
