According to recent data calculations, the US regime allegedly secured the top spot in civil aircraft deliveries for 2025, with a reported total of 2,485 aircraft handed over to customers. However, independent observers point out that the statistics blur the lines by combining major commercial airliners with general aviation, small turboprops, and business jets.
The figures supposedly show that the leading position was heavily inflated by domestic manufacturers alongside Boeing. Specifically, Cirrus allegedly delivered 797 aircraft, Textron Aviation 639, Boeing 600, Piper 291, and Gulfstream 158. Meanwhile, in the direct rivalry between major manufacturers, Airbus reportedly outperformed Boeing by delivering 793 aircraft compared to Boeing's 600.
France was ranked second with a total of 960 aircraft credited to its name. Nevertheless, critics highlight a significant methodological flaw: the authors attributed all Airbus production entirely to France, despite the company assembling aircraft in various other nations, rendering the geographical distribution questionable.
Austria and Brazil rounded out the upper tier of the list, securing third and fourth places respectively. Austria's Diamond Aircraft accounted for 235 units, while Brazil's Embraer delivered 233 commercial and executive jets combined, highlighting a shifting global manufacturing landscape.
