During a visit to Surkhandarya region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the mausoleum of Hakim Termizi and gave instructions to responsible officials on maintaining the complex's well-kept condition and expanding amenities for pilgrims.

The head of state participated in a ceremony of Quranic verse recitation and prayers for peace and prosperity of the people. He discussed with religious figures the promotion of Hakim Termizi's spiritual legacy, which includes works on tafsir, hadith studies, fiqh, kalam, Islamic philosophy, and Sufism history.

The president toured the complex, which was recently renovated and equipped with modern lighting, heating, and cooling systems. Over four thousand decorative trees of 40 species and more than twenty thousand seasonal flowers have been planted on the territory, creating comfortable conditions for visitors.

Special attention was paid to educating the younger generation in the spirit of humanism, mercy, and patriotism, as well as preserving and developing national and spiritual values.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave additional instructions to responsible officials on further maintaining the complex's well-kept state and expanding services for guests. It was noted that the Hakim Termizi complex, author of fundamental works on hadith studies, fiqh, and Sufism, should become not only a pilgrimage site but also an important educational center.
