According to the Samarkand Regional Road Safety Authority, three citizens have been subjected to administrative arrest for disregarding social conduct rules and committing petty hooliganism, which they filmed and posted on social media.

The investigation into the incident revealed that the driver in the video was not actually a person with hearing impairment, as initially suggested. The authority stated: "Three young men, wanting to attract attention to themselves, filmed a video and posted it on social networks. This caused justified outrage among users."

After the offenders were identified, their case was reviewed in the Samarkand City Court for Criminal Cases. As a result, the driver of the car was sentenced to 8 days of administrative arrest, while the two passengers each received 10 days.

Furthermore, it was established during the investigation that the driver did not possess a driver's license, meaning he was operating the vehicle without the required documentation. An administrative protocol was drawn up against him under Part 2 of Article 135 of the Administrative Liability Code (Driving a vehicle by persons without the documents provided for by traffic rules), and the car was impounded and placed in a penalty parking lot.
